I love the attention Jane gets.  I'm complimented when people call me Jane.  She has taken on a life of her own.

Simply stated, Jane is the name I chose for my inner voice...the inner attitude that helps me remember who I am and steers me in the right direction.  When I was in the darkest part of my gambling addiction I relied on that voice to pull me through.  I didn't care about anything other than numbing myself to my pain.  Jane cared when I couldn't do it on my own.

I have also heard it called: ~ a gut feeling   ~ intuition   ~ spirit   ~ the knowing   ~ the universe 

I like Jane better. 

Everything I create has come from my connection with Jane.  Listening is a choice.  Without my inner guidance I feel lost and alone.  I know that there is purpose in all things and that what I focus on expands.  Sometimes I don't listen to Jane.  Sometimes I focus on the negative.  Then I wonder why I get so many red lights.  And why I can't think straight.  And why I feel so rotten. 

Imagine a plug going into the wall.  All I have to do is plug back into Jane and my source of creation and flow returns.  It is a beautiful experience.  Without the darkness we can't fully appreciate the light.   I have learned to embrace all of my experiences, good and bad.  Misery tends to be my muse.  When I've had enough time going nowhere by drifting in space, I plug in and hit the ground running.  

In our disconnected world it's important to take time for ourselves.  We need to make the time to breathe, connect and practice self care. Going through the motions without caring or having passion about something healthy keeps us unhappy and unfulfilled.  Instead we develop ways to blindly fill an empty hole in our souls.  My comfort was video poker and video slots.  What's yours?  Food, work, internet...something else?

My goal at Jane Cares is to strengthen your connection with your source.  You've been gone long enough.
